Putting it all together

I'm finding this new blogger quite difficult - I like the familiar and trying something new always makes me think I'm going to do dreadful things to the computer.  So here's something else new, with help from the Beyond Layers course video by Kim Klassen, a few photos from a holiday on the west coast of Scotland last year.  We never tire of going there - always something new to see!

  5. I think your collage captures the essence of the highlands perfectly. I've looked at the course and considered taking it. I've heaps to learn!

  6. Stunning photos Julia, well chosen and put together.
Isn't it a pain when something is changed and you can see no need for it? I cannot find any advantage to the new Blogger format.

  7. Your photo montage is gorgeous, Julia - as always! You've got a real eye for colour and composition. The West Coast of Scotland has to be one of my favourite places in the world... Beautiful.

I agree with you about Blogger. I wish they'd stop messing about, and just fix it so it works properly!! However, as for composing posts, I've been using Windows LiveWriter for ages and it's infinitely better than Blogger's own, with a lot more control. It's part of the free Windows Live download and well worth getting!!

Thanks for your comment on my blog - yes, I shall do a Zentangle album eventually, when I've got enough decent ones to put in it! However, I've wanted to get started on mixed media art journaling for quite a while now and it's just another string to my bow!

  9. Lol at your comment, and thanks, Julia!! Yes, I do eat (a bit too much if my tubby tummy is anything to go by...) and I also don't spend nearly as much time creating as I'd like to!!! As for creative minds, I'd say yours was pretty creative too - your blog is definitely evidence of that.
