After deciding to add the 'wandering' photo, we decided to take a 6 mile journey by bus to Whitley Bay. Two hours later we arrived! We certainly wandered but weren't lost!
I've just finished making some hearts to hang on the drawers of the 4 grandchildren who live nearby - just need to deliver them now. Hope you're all having a good week!
I love the hearts, what pretty colour and pattern combinations. Is the 'wandering' photo taken on Handa Island? I only ask because they also use a board walk to get over the sometimes very boggy bits!
ReplyDeleteit's nice to know I'm not lost!
ReplyDeleteLoving those hearts for your Grandchildren. That path looks interesting too! X
ReplyDeleteHope u got my comment x
ReplyDeleteVery Hearty show my friend.
ReplyDeleteLove the wondering path too, wonder whats at the end of that path?
Lovely picture, again, Julia, and I do love that sentiment! Too many people are frantically dashing from A to B these days, with the excuse of "important business" and seem to have lost the ability to stand and stare, or just wander! Your little hearts are beautiful, and I like the photo montage which is so decorative in itself.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment on my blog - one day perhaps I'll do a book but wouldn't know how to start such a project! I've got a lot more drawing to do before there's enough for a book, anyway. It's really addictive and fun to do!

That must of been a lovely bus ride, just watching the world go by. Lovely hearts, I love the colour. Jackie.
ReplyDeleteI remember a favourite book from my childhood: "The Road that Lost its Way". Your picture is quite tantalizing - I wonder what is over the hill!
