I'm finding this new blogger quite difficult - I like the familiar and trying something new always makes me think I'm going to do dreadful things to the computer. So here's something else new, with help from the Beyond Layers course video by
Kim Klassen, a few photos from a holiday on the west coast of Scotland last year. We never tire of going there - always something new to see!
Beautiful collage! Love the colors, of course I'm partial to RED!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, would make a great postcard for the area!! Jackie in Surrey.
ReplyDeleteYour collage is very beautiful!! The lines and colors are wonderful, and compliment each other. :) Nice job!!
ReplyDeleteI really like this collage. So many different atmosphere's all set off by that vivid red. Wonderful collection. Tami (beyond layers class)
ReplyDeleteI think your collage captures the essence of the highlands perfectly. I've looked at the course and considered taking it. I've heaps to learn!
ReplyDeleteStunning photos Julia, well chosen and put together.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it a pain when something is changed and you can see no need for it? I cannot find any advantage to the new Blogger format.
really great Julia.
ReplyDeleteYour photo montage is gorgeous, Julia - as always! You've got a real eye for colour and composition. The West Coast of Scotland has to be one of my favourite places in the world... Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about Blogger. I wish they'd stop messing about, and just fix it so it works properly!! However, as for composing posts, I've been using Windows LiveWriter for ages and it's infinitely better than Blogger's own, with a lot more control. It's part of the free Windows Live download and well worth getting!!
Thanks for your comment on my blog - yes, I shall do a Zentangle album eventually, when I've got enough decent ones to put in it! However, I've wanted to get started on mixed media art journaling for quite a while now and it's just another string to my bow!

I haven't tried the new blogger, not keen to! love your shots here
ReplyDeleteLol at your comment, and thanks, Julia!! Yes, I do eat (a bit too much if my tubby tummy is anything to go by...) and I also don't spend nearly as much time creating as I'd like to!!! As for creative minds, I'd say yours was pretty creative too - your blog is definitely evidence of that.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Shoshi
Very Neat, my friend.
ReplyDeleteLovely phone box montage. Wish we had a red box in our village!
ReplyDeleteI'm breathless everytime I come to see you,
ReplyDeletejust amazing!
Wow! Your colors just leap out of your storyboard!
ReplyDeleteHi Julia, me again! Thanks for yet another nice comment on my blog. This Van Eyck page is the first of many which are going to be compiled into an album. Defo a work in progress lol!
