  2. Love the photos Ju, especially the cornflowers. I hope Geoff doesn't miss all your good weather, it hasn't been too good here in Latvia. Plenty of time to talk in the not so good weather though.

  3. Such a pretty view. Are the blue flowers bachelor's buttons?

  4. The world feels so much friendlier when the sun shines and these flowers have really stretched upwards to catch the heat and light.

  6. Oooh lovely, Julia, two more gorgeous flower's eye views! You are really capturing the essence of an English summer - so beautiful!

Thanks for your comment on my blog - glad you like my friend's little box - she was thrilled with it! I thought the miniature seaside on top came out quite well and I was generally pleased with the result! The step by step is as much for my benefit as anyone else's so I can remember what I did, but I'm always interested to read other people's step by steps too! I'm working on 2 more similar boxes but with different embellishments.

Have a lovely holiday, and I hope the weather stays nice for you. I don't think I shall be involved much in the Jubilee celebrations as I'm exhausted after so much activity (and hot weather) recently - lookng forward to some peace and quiet and will watch it on the telly!
