this is very nice, I like the subtle use of textures. PS The birds on my blog are wild cardinals, and even though they look like they are kissing, actually, the male is feeding the female.(0:
It's beautiful Julia and I very much like the texture you made. My trip to the docs this morning was fruitless,........I should have been there yesterday. Mortified does not cover it!
People always moan about dandelions. Perhaps they should just stop and look at them and see how beautiful they are - or better still, visit Julia and have their eyes opened!! What a stunning photo.
Thanks for your comment on my blog, and your birthday wishes for my hubby! I finished the card last night and will be blogging soon about it.
Thanks for your lovely comment, Julia - glad you like my hubby's card! Can't wait to give it to him on Saturday. As for selling them, the amount of work that went into this one, nobody would pay what it was worth... I am doing less ephemeral art these days and would love to sell some of that but haven't really got the energy and get-up-and-go to make it happen at the moment!
As usual Julia, beautiful pictures. They're the sort I'd love to take but just haven't the know how. Still, it's lovely to come here and get some inspiration. :-)
Angels let loose, lol. What beauty it is to see my friend.
ReplyDeleteCatching up after a couple weeks of company.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great shot of that dandelion seed.
On the edge is vulnerable place to be and this one really captures that vulnerability I think
