Still fascinated by this seed head, this time I added one of my textures, hue blend mode, using natural light next to the window, with a black background, using my 50mm lens. Hope you are all enjoying this great weather!
Oh wow, Julia, that's gorgeous... Anyone who moans about dandelions (and that's most people!) should come on here and see just how beautiful they are!! When you say with a black background, did you replace the background with black? If so, I'd be interested to hear how you selected out such a complicated shape!! It's an awesome picture.

Thanks for your reply, Julia - ah, the low-tech version lol! I usually end up spending hours editing out backgrounds and replacing them with black - perhaps I should just photograph the stuff against black fabric to start with!! However you did it, the results are stunning.
