Well you wouldn't have gotten such wonderful moody shots in bright sunshine would you - every cloud has a silver lining doesn't it!
We've had amazing weather, nearly 3m with no rain (that's called a drought up here!) I was watering the drainage stripes on my lawn! Thank goodness we've had rain since but it's sad it's all so uneven.
How apt! I think I can see the end of the pier in the distance, must keep going then :)
