Pick a poppy

Playing with poppies to join in with Color Me Weekly palettes.  I opened one up to see what was inside - white, not black, seeds.  I suppose they turn black as they dry out.  Then we can cook with them!

    Great macro! Love the light and odour! So I'm not the only one who likes to see what's inside the occasional seed pod.

    Or go to sleep with them lol! You'll be starting an opium den soon ROFL!! I love this photo because I love poppies. As usual you have captured an unusual angle that makes one really observe just how beautiful the subject is. Just gorgeous.

    Thanks for your lovely comment - I'm sort of back - it seems like a day on and a day off at the moment and I keep having to crash out to catch up with myself! Got to summon up enough energy tonight to get those ATCs completed (details on back completed) and ready to send off tomorrow.
