I should have been at the Harrogate K & S show today but the weather conspired against it (6 inches of snow and more to come). Instead I thought I'd show you a photo taken of an old railway carriage door and the two images which came from it. I used PSP here as I am still coming to grips with PSE. One of the biggest frustrations is that the files saved as psp images can't be opened in PSE. I haven't been able to find a solution so if you can help ...!
I'm supposed to be going on Sunday but not sure I'll go for the same reason! as more snow forecast for the weekend:-( Love your pictures especially the middle one.
ReplyDeleteDeep joy when we are set to travel to your neck of the woods on Wednesday. We have about the same amount here in Latvia but it isn't really an issue, mainly because we don't have the traffic and we have to have winter tyres and everyone is prepared for it.
ReplyDeleteThe images are great. Sorry about the snow, that's alot for you isn't it? Can't help with the two programs, I only have a wee bit of knowledge about PSE. xox Corrine
ReplyDeleteFab images.
ReplyDeleteI'm GUTTED for you & selfishly, for me too as I'd hoped to hear all about it.
Not sure if I'll get thru to my fair tomorrow as it's 40 mins drive away & a little hilly!
Lovely images. Shame about the K&S, I do wish they would hold it earlier in the year. Have you tried saving your PSP files as jpg or tiff files or is it the layers that you wan to save as well?
ReplyDeleteLove what you have done with the top photo. I'm so sorry you couldn't come today, I was looking forward to meeting up :( I enjoyed the show and didn't push myself to run round the whole thing as I usually do. I'll get round to blogging it.... eventually!
ReplyDeleteOMG! it is so freezing there - snowing heaps!
ReplyDeleteMay you draw some warmth from those beautiful images you have created - they are stunning!
The colours so vibrant and I just love that railway carriage door! I wish I could help with PSE but can't sorry! Your blogger header is so effective too and, by the way, thanks for lovely comment on my blog - we are all into a bit of vibrant colour aren't we?
Hi, saw the snow on the news last night, please to say we haven't had any yet here!! Looks like Normandy, France has it too looking at Catherine's blog!!
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures and hopefully with the snow keeping you in, there might be many more.
Have a good weekend, keep warm and safe, Jackie in Surrey, UK.
Sorry you missed your show but great pictures - I enjoyed looking back through previous ones too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my journals
So sorry you didn't get to the K&S show. I really wish they'd hold one a little further north than Harrogat. Lovely pics as usual.
ReplyDeleteThat middle one is marvellous ! See - without all that snow we would not have gotten to see these !
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, I went to K&S yesterday by coach and the journey wasnt too bad at all. Todays different cos we have had way more snow and the roads are icy beneath it, so glad had not opted for today!
ReplyDeleteAbout to do blog with lots of pics from the show if you want to see what was there that caught my eye.
Yesterday was much quieter than normal prev saturdays, you could quite easily move around for one thing........tho there were still so many of us not sure where the hell we were, in which hall and which direction we needed to go to get to wherever! hate that venue, love the theatre bit but the far side of it wasnt open.........or if it was I never found the way in lolol So maybe lots of stalls pulled out last minute too.
Here was a day so gray and with these picture you've made my day, second one is really beautiful, thank you!!
