Even the trees are confused

It's no use being in denial any longer, it has snowed, it is snowing, it is going to snow .... It does look lovely but it is very inconvenient if you want to get around. Apparently we get a different sort of snow here in the UK which brings (nearly) everything to a standstill. Roll on summer!

  3. Oh WOW! The fruit with snow and ice on it is just spectacular! I love the window shot too. :o)

Here... it has snowed about 35cm in the last few days. We keep on truckin. But, we live in a semi-arid climate so this is MUCH more snow than we are used to. I am LOVING it! So are all the skiers and snow machine junkies. :o)

  5. We have about a foot of snow here but nothing so pretty as apples with snow kissed tops.

  7. It's good to know that I'm not the only one who always seems to be confused :)

  9. And we were so grateful for the snow in Latvia as it meant the roads were flattened out and frozen instead of dirt slush but here in England we decided to abandon trying to travel to Sheffield and stayed in Bedford overnight instead. We couldn't face the chaos of driving here in England but think nothing of it in Latvia with our big 4x4 truck and all weather tyres. Still hoping to make it up north though

  10. Lovely photographs. Hoping you're cozy warm. It's been nearly 5 years now since we were in England at Christmas visiting our daughter and son-in-law Mundesley. It was lovely there, we even had snow. Wishing you well! Cathy

  11. Love the pics - we need a period of hibernation to recharge - give me contrasting seasons any day, makes the coming of spring even sweeter!
