Autumnal animals

I'm not in the habit of taking photos of animals but these rather splendidly coloured rams were too good to miss as we drove down a deserted track in the Northumberland countryside. They had a good stare before getting bored! I copied and pasted parts of the image, added one of my textures and a frame. Wonder what they were thinking. (Do animals think?)

  1. I'm sure they do think..... bleat , baaaa, woh?, mmmmmmmm.....etc etc ;) But aren't they magnificent! I thought they were Devon type sheep at first because you get that colour sheep down there. Splendid horns!

  3. I used to watch my little dog make "plans" for his treat while he waited for a certain person to come and play with him. I'm not sure what they think ... but, yes, they do think.

  8. It is clear that they do not need a dictionary like us, the text said something like ... "In the forest when fighting branches, roots embrace."
I love this photo, the composition is perfect!

  9. Yes, not only do they think, but our dog can tell time too - you should hear her when she knows it's time for dinner !

Wow - I've never seen sheep like this before - all decked out in their autumn best ! Great shots and collage.

  10. I think they (sheep) would be pleased with your family portrait and collage. The farmer would probably be pleased too.
    fun stuff and well done!

  11. Perhaps they were thinking that they wished they had a camera so that they could snap a picture of you. Beautiful picture - their coloring is incredible. Thanks for sharing.
