Faffing is something we all like to do - isn't it?! It often means we never get round to actually doing something constructive but recently I've found faffing with apps to be one of the most enjoyable (photography) activities! Here are some images, taken with my iPhone and edited in iColorama, a very versatile app but a steep learning curve. There are quite a few tutorials on Youtube to help if you are interested.
Some lovely 'faffs' I actually think faffing is a wonderful way to pass the time constructively! It's hard to pick a favourite. I love the Passing Place sign, and the pier and the boat.
ReplyDeleteGreat creativity.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteLove the effects and a good faff around.
Is the app only for phones?
I am finding this more and more - apps I like but turn out to be only for phones.
Will check it out for my iPad.
Cheers
SAS
Shirley - for iPad also. You would enjoy it
DeleteI've never heard of the term 'faffing' before and my auto correct changed it to gaffing but I persisted. :) This new app looks really interesting and made your photos into beautiful works of art. I like the yellow boat!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter once came up with a phrase "Procrastination: Faffing with a purpose" :D Anyway that is a lovely way to faff about and produced some rather wonderful results
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful, Julia!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the boat.
I'm very impressed with you and your app ability...these are really nice!
ReplyDeleteLovely, especially the passing place sign - how far up did you come?
ReplyDeleteThanks to you, I found the app and have it on my iPad, but haven't figured out one thing yet - so I need to watch the Youtube videos. I LOVE all of the photos you've edited!
ReplyDeleteGreat images Ma!
