Signs of things to come

For this week's BeStill 52 challenge the setup had to include something hanging in the background eg bunting, twine, string etc  I already had some mini bunting which I made for Christmas, so I whipped it out to use with this seed packet (I will get round to planting!) and some gladioli bulbs (ditto).  Edited in LR and then transferred to Elements to add Kim's texture 'follow'.

  1. Another great pic, Julia. Thanks for your lovely comment - yes, we had a fabulous time, and Shaz was such an encouragement to me in every way. I don't feel very positive at the moment and have had a few really rough days, but I was warned that it was quite normal to be on an emotional rollercoaster. Still having mega problems with Mum refusing to go into respite care.

  4. Oh yes, I do need that reminder that spring will come.. faster please! I love gladioli and was lucky enough to dig up some very sturdy old bulbs from my parents farm before they moved. I'm a few weeks behind my Be Still!

  10. Thanks Julia - this couple of weeks has proved to be a blessing in disguise, allowing us to rest and relax in advance of the new date for surgery. Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers - much appreciated. Yes, we had a lovey day out yesterday, and as I said to my hubby, I shall look back on this period with great affection as a very special time!

  11. Thanks for your prayers for Friday, Julia. I feel carried along by a tide of answered prayer! I just hope I don't let myself and everybody else down by returning to a gelatinous emotional state lol!
