Two views (100mm lens) of a wonderfully blooming orchid (these are some of the buds) - it never ceases to amaze how orchids just keep on going when everything else (almost) is waiting for warmer weather. Hope you are all surviving anything the weather is throwing at you at the moment!

I've never had an orchid as I thought they looked too straggly with their long stems and few flower blooms but I am growing to like them more for their beautiful colours and exquisite look now. Great Macro shots! We're waiting for the next storm to arrive tomorrow. This will be the third Sunday in a row that we've had a bad snowstorm. I see a pattern here don't you?

ReplyDeleteMy faithful orchid has just bloomed - the flowers were there for nearly six months earlier this year. Great macro shots - bursting with promise.
