I know that feeling, whereas we have sunflowers some other plants only now seem to be taking off and flourishing and our weather hasn't been as bad as yours. It almost seems like a last ditch attempt to reproduce.
Love this shot! we took Harry up to St Andrews on saturday, took the train and the coast was so incredibly beautiful especially by Berwick on Tweed. I so envy you living up there!
