Edlingham Castle

We've just visited Edlingham Castle which can be found between Alnwick (famous for its castle with Harry Potter links) and Rothbury This is one of the many castles to be found in the border (with Scotland) county.
Always plenty to explore!  Come before this one falls down!

  1. Wow! Well I've been been all over Northumberland and never seen that castle. Must look it up sometime

  3. It does look rather precarious!

I had my email to you bounced back yesterday, not sure why. Thank you for the comment you left on my blog :-)

  4. Great pics as always, Julia. I particularly like the last one.

Thanks for your continuing prayers and thoughts for our family. My hubby went to visit Dad again today and was very sad to report that he's not doing well - he's no better despite being on antibiotics for several days, and being rehydrated - he's very confused, and has lost a lot of weight. Saw him yesterday and it was awful seeing him looking so old and frail and out of it.

I'm trying to rest at home today - I'm feeling very exhausted. My poor hubby is having to carry us all at the moment and he's being such a trooper. Don't know what we'd do without him.
