Today the sun was nice and bright in the porch (English porch - not the nice big sort you can sit out in!) so I took this pic of a few rusty bits and pieces which I've picked up along the way, as lots of bloggy friends seem to do. It's the textures and colours that appeal. Not quite the usual porch decoration!
Oh for a porch to stash stuff from walks, we just have a pile of shoes as soon as you walk in the door.
ReplyDeleteWorks for me Julia, all rusty bits are welcome. xox Corrine
ReplyDeleteI think it's great we like collecting rust & many other things, we naturally collect the flotsam & jetsom of others' dicarded lives & we've got to put it somewhere! I might take a pic of my porch if I remember (it's north facing, tho ;( ) No light but a fabulous view ;) From desks to porches ;)
ReplyDeletewow....beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, warm color combination! And you captured the textures perfectly; weathered metal is such a cool subject for a still life. Great picture!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a collection I'd love to own. the more unusual the better I say!
ReplyDeleteRust offers such diversity in color and texture ... a treasure for sure.
ReplyDeleteLooks very interesting, are you going to do some rust dying? Denise
ReplyDeleteLooks a really interesting arrangement of lines, shapes, textures and colours.
ReplyDeleteA porch needs SOMETHING in it and rich colours plus fab shapes......whats not to like?
ReplyDelete:)

ReplyDeletehave a nice weekend dear Julia!!
Maybe junk in some people's eyes, but looks like a treasure the way you've captured it here - beautiful colours.
