Frosty days

Frosty days but sunny!
The other night we went to a talk by photographer Paul Kenny who lives in the NE and whose work is unique and inspirational. Have a look at his work here and here. One of the interesting things about his own life was that he returned to the same sheepfold in Scotland for one week for 20 years to take photographs of stones - food for thought!

  1. Wonderful photos Julia. The chrystal frost on plants always is so magical. Snow and more snow here.....Not to much to photograph except white. xox Corrine

  4. Cold and sunny here but luckily no frost. Love your pictures, makes me feel very cold and glad I live in the South East!!!!

Next time I take some photographs of flowers I will look from the bottom up and see what they come out like, thank you for the suggestion.

When I am out walking I always look up into trees etc...

Have a good weekend, keep warm, Jackie.

  13. These are amazing, and your photography is so compelling!! Some of the images you've made would indeed make for wonderful fabric prints (as you mentioned in another post). You're clearly a master in both media, and I look forward to seeing more!
