Allium seedhead

These huge seedheads were about 15cm in diameter, surrounded by flowering plants of all kinds, but just as beautiful in their own way.  Seen at  Wallington Hall, a National Trust House and Gardens.

  1. Julia, this is just beautiful.
You have captured such wonderful golden light here.

  2. Wow, I enlarged it and it looks wonderful. I hope you are having a lovely Summer? Jackie in Surrey.

  3. Next you will have to try growing some leeks for their flowers just before they open, they are amazing. Very Northumbrian too :) I would love to see what photos you would get from them

  4. Beautiful! your photos look fantastic.
Thanks for commenting on my bags.
