Last leaf

Well, not quite the last leaf but a few windy days will see a lot of the leaves disappearing!  Used one of my own textures on this - a shot of a rusty pipe.  Enjoy the rest of the autumn  days!

  4. A beautiful single leaf - a great study. Terrific texture, too, but then you know I'm a glutton for rust lol!!

Thanks for your lovely comment, Julia - I think the parable is that the most amazing transformation is possible for all of us, however brash and garish and unpreposessing we are when we start out. God is the greatest Artist of all, and once He gets to work on us, a masterpiece is sure to result! (After all, it says in Eph. 2:10: "We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." The Greek for "workmanship" in this verse is "poem" or "masterpiece"!!)

How is that adorable little Mabel settling in? I'd love to have kittens again. Trouble is, they grow up so fast. Enjoy every minute of her!

  5. Thanks for your nice comment, Julia - as for not keeping up with me, it won't last! I'm having a few good days at the moment and steaming ahead, but there will always be those days on the recliner watching Youtube vids and daytime TV lol!! (That should give you a bit of a breather!)
