Oh gorgeous, Julia. You really are capturing the essence of autumn with your photos. A lovely quote from Elizabeth Barrett Browning, too. I always moan at my hubby for being so unobservant when we're out - there is so much beauty all around us if we only take the trouble to open our eyes and really "see" rather than just forming retinal images lol! I see God's hand everywhere, and give Him the glory for giving us such a beautiful world to live in.
Thanks for your nice comment - yes, I am enjoying the journey, but it's going to be a long one! The thing that takes the most time is the decision making! I'm overwhelmed with choice, and find myself dithering. Hope the progress will pick up, though.
Wow Julia, I LOVE your new blog header! It's fabulous - all that lovely perspective, and the intriguing mist in the distance, obscuring the destination of your journey! Lovely. Very moody in black and white, too.
Thanks for your lovely comment - glad you're enjoying the progress of my album. Nil progress today, I'm afraid - been at Mum's most of the day and this evening came home too exhausted to do anything! Hopefully tomorrow will be another matter. (At least I managed to do another inch of my knitting today!)
Thanks for your latest comment, Julia - and you are right about selling - this is one reason why I'm not over-keen on it as it can be pretty demoralising after all the work you put in. However, most of the stuff I've made to sell hasn't sold so I've rather given up on the whole thing these days! Life's too short, and I'm just going to do things for fun now, unless there is a specific request.
Crammed indeed and you bring it so beautifully to our attention
ReplyDeleteJust a little puff of wind, lol.great shot.

One of my favorite quotes and you've coupled it with such a striking image.
ReplyDeleteLove that header, Julia. And a wonderful image to illustrate a marvelous quote - how true it is.
