Autumn light

I didn't get further than a few steps from my front door when I saw the morning sunlight through the leaves of the hydrangea bush.  Nearly missed this.

  1. Beautiful photos and light. The spider web really lights up. Is it cold there now? We're having a very cold day here but it's not to last as a nor'easter is heading up the coast again in a couple of days. More rain. I hope you are having a good week. Blessings, Pamela

  5. Gorgeous pics as usual, Julia - the autumn colours are so beautiful, aren't they, and the quality of the light is different, too, filtering through the leaves.

Thanks for your comment - glad you liked the mini-Shoshi pics - by special request lol! Yes, it's fair to say I have changed just a bit since they were taken ha ha! I've been having great fun going through all the old photos.

Hope you get some visits to your blog via the link I put in my post!

  6. Thanks for your nice comment about my latest art journal page, Julia. I certainly enjoyed doing it, and it was very thought-provoking. As for making it into cards, I'm not sure how appropriate it would be for a card? I've certainly made enough poppies to go in my stash and no doubt some will end up on cards.

  8. Lovely, Julia - the light, the colours, the web ...

I read about an exercise in a photography course - take 10 steps out of your front door and spend 20 minutes making photos. Amazing what the eye/mind can see.

  10. Thanks for your comment about my latest Zentangle efforts, Julia. I had fun experimenting! Next job is to get my reference library of patterns up to scratch, and that's going to be a very long job!!
