Another palette for Color me weekly. The extract from the letter is one written to my dad during WW2. I wonder what happened to the person who wrote it?
What beautiful photography! I've been browsing through your last few blog posts and just love the images. I also love your creativity with your palettes!
Julia, thank you soooo much for an absolutely lovely comment on my blog - that has blessed me even more!! What a lovely way to start the day.
Your picture is, as always, beautiful - you should print them and make an album from them all. They are all photographic contest winners! I love how you have used that precious manuscript in your composition - it's so good that it was kept and not thrown away.
Also, I adore your new blog background! Just beautiful, and I love the words!
I was woken up really early (for me - I keep very weird hours) by someone phoning my hubby so I came through to check my messages and got such a lift! Back to bed for a bit now.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I've been catching up with yours, I love all the work you've been doing but especially like the photo's you've taken at Blyth, they look very atmospheric...x
Love the colours you have here Julia, I think I can make a match out of my new stash of dyed fabric - thanks for your comment.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful and I really like how you've blended everything together.

ReplyDeleteMorning Julia, how lovely that you still have the letter!! It makes a great layer and the flower you added is so beautiful. Jackie in Surrey
