Summer

You never know what's round the corner - we came upon this wildflower field as we were driving along. Not many of them about now. We think the farmer left the edge of this field so they could grow undisturbed. It was an unexpected surprise!

  6. What a gorgeous photo, Julia! I love to see wild flowers growing like that. I especially like wild poppies - sometimes you find whole fields of them! Glorious.

  7. That field is beautiful! traveling in the car to Chester we pass a wonderful field full of wild flowers. Spectacular, but because of the traffic it's impossible to stop. Recently a sign, 'Land for Sale' has been put up. It makes me so sad to think those fowers will soon disappear!

  8. If you are ever Derbyshire way at the right time of the year, this place is somewhere to see and the artist who planted it has done some fabulous work

  9. I love wildflowers and wish we had more of them around here. Too many farmers squeezing every dime out of every acre around us! Beautiful shot and hope you are enjoying sweet surprises all summer long!

Thanks for your honest opinion - if no a twig, then what, do you think ;)?
