Web design

One of the first mornings where there is dew on the grass and hydrangea in the garden - almost an abstract quality to the drops caught in the web.

  6. Wow Julia - what stunning, ethereal photos. Quite magical and beautiful!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments, and for keeping me in your thoughts all through this great adventure of ours! Progress is definitely being made now and although the builders are still with us, there's not too much to do now (my hubby's man cave needs quite a bit of work but at least it's secure now and has power). Yesterday I got desperate with the state of the place and decided to clean up a bit, and feel better now it doesn't crunch when you walk on the floors!!

My new bathroom is an absolute dream - only a few finishing touches needed now but everything's usable and it's totally fabulous! I even have a soft-closing loo seat now!

Mum arrives on Wed. and I've still got a few things to do in there to get it ready for her.

I've made a path through the chaos in my ARTHaven and can now actually get in there! Hopefully it won't be long before I can get stuff properly organised and can start working in there. I can't wait.

  7. Thanks for another nice comment, Julia, and yes, we are both thrilled with the results of the renovation of our new house. For me, all the adaptations are proving worth their weight in gold and making life a lot easier, and also for my hubby who doesn't have to do so much for me now!! Mum arrives tomorrow and I'm busy putting the finishing touches to her annexe to get it ready for her, and the builders return on 21st to finish off the last few jobs. In the meantime I'm busy trying to clean up, and also continuing to empty the seemingly endless boxes!
