A cornflower out of my garden with Kim Klassen's texture 'yesteryear' at overlay 26% and a cloned background. Thinking of and praying for Kim's husband who has just been diagnosed with leukemia.
So sorry to hear about your friend's news. A beautiful photo as always!
Thanks for your lovely comment, Julia. After my efforts yesterday I spent this morning in bed! I'm feeling nice and rested now. There's a lot to do but a start has been made, and it will be very interesting to see the progress from now on.
Thanks for another lovely comment, Julia. Yes, Indian textiles are so rich. The pieces I bought were really inexpensive, too. Watch out for photos of them in situ as time goes on! Tomorrow we are going over to the new house and the builder is supposed to be bringing the units for my new ARTHaven so it's suddenly starting to become real!
Thank you for sharing my excitement, Julia! It's amazing, designing things from scratch like this. It's also a bit scary - if I get it wrong, I have to live with it! At least everything is done in consultation with the experts, who put me right if I suggest something impossible! My ARTHaven cabinets should be assembled today, and I've spoken to Andy on the phone this a.m. about the flooring so he can go ahead and order it. The kitchen should arrive 1st July.
I have always loved cornflowers...the texture is very nice. I hadn't heard about Kim's husband, I am so sorry to read this...prayers for her and her family coming.
Very striking image. Prayers for her husband from here too.
ReplyDeleteA beauty, our thoughts go to Kim and her DH.
ReplyDeleteEthereal! Blessings of peace on the Klassen family
ReplyDeleteA lovely rendering of a perennial favourite.
ReplyDeleteHeart felt thoughts for Kim and DH.
