Just enjoyed the half term holiday with family and having some great days out in spite of the cold weather. Also enjoyed reading
one of A A Gill's books and found a particular sentence struck a chord with me ' ... the most precious, elegant object in a free society - a quiet life of small joys'. I guess these images show some of the 'small joys'. Another shed one to add to the folder - a glimpse of the GCs plastic table and chairs stowed away until summer picnics in the garden. But still finding small joys in the winter!
I think that is so true. Appreciating the small simple pleasures in life can bring much happiness and contentment. I love that first photo they look like tissue thin poppies.
ReplyDeleteI think God must be trying to get my/our attention. Another friend of mine blogged on a similar theme only recently http://mavisa.blogspot.com/2012/02/hidden.html
