Seeing from a new perspective

Taking something, in this case flowers or weeds, which normally wouldn't be worthy of a second glance, and seeing it from a new perspective reveals details and textures which could be missed.
It opens up a whole new world of possibilities!

  1. Weeds - only wild flowers in the wrong place.
The beauty is in the details, which you have captured here.

  6. Such a vivid blue...wow!

(In answer to your question....there are different ways of cutting out. Magic extractor is good, sometimes I use the lasso tools, but on this occasion I just used the eraser. First a large brush...gradually getting smaller as I got nearer to the edges. Hope that helps.)

  9. Excellent images as usual, Julia, and excellent insights as well! We all need to open our eyes more and really look at the things that surround us. We've just got back from a few days away and I've got some more juicy textures for you over on my blog - see "Silver Wedding Celebrations 3/5 - out and about in Woolacombe"!! As I photographed them I thought of you!!!
