Textures and shadows

A bright sunny day here - I took this photo of our landing on another day, added a texture which I made and scanned, plus text using a drop shadow (outline). The original photo is below.

Hope it's sunny where you are!

  1. Really like this - well seen and well created. You are getting good at this.
Textures are easy to create and you can use any of your own images to create them too - tree bark for eg. An image of any surface and the same for colour.
    Cheers

  2. Love the effect Ju, transforms the picture from a modernist one to a rich photo.

It is definitely sunny here today but cold again, we either have overcast and warmer or we have sunny and cold. At least the snow melts in the sun now and the nights are getting distinctly shorter

  8. Love what you've done with this. It's sunny at this very moment but big swirling clouds of snow may come by ANY minute!

Must post the pic of my porch just for the hey - good idea of yours, it might catch on ;)
